Young Spinach is the product of Welsh musician Heledd Owen offering a wash of dreamlike lo-fi bilingual homemade pop. After many years contemplating a solo act, Heledd decided that Scratched Records would be the perfect home for her music so she grabbed the name from a salad bag and secured the help of guitarist and friend Louise Macphail. Her debut single, ‘Grand Designs’ was released in November.
