SURUP is the project of friends Lily Clifford, Lucy Rushton, Heledd Owen and Heather Blore. The band formed in 2018 after Lily and Lucy, who originally played in one another's separate bands, began writing together. Described as a Jangly mix of surf-esque riffs behind romantically tinged narratives with a splash of disco for good measure the half welsh half English group has a long list of influences with a deep connection to the welsh language music scene.
